OzPeps (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information and only collecting what is necessary to process and fulfil your order.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the personal information necessary to process and fulfil your order:

  • Name, for addressing your shipment
  • Delivery address, to ship your order within Australia
  • Email address, for order confirmation and dispatch notifications
  • Order details, products purchased, quantities, and order value

We do not collect or store payment information. Cryptocurrency payments are processed entirely through BTCPay Server, a self-hosted payment processor. No card details, bank details, or wallet private keys pass through our systems.

2. How We Collect Information

Personal information is collected when you place an order via our checkout form at ozpeps.is. We do not collect personal information through cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools beyond standard server-side access logs retained by our hosting infrastructure.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used solely to:

  • Process and fulfil your order
  • Send order confirmation and shipping notifications to your email address
  • Respond to enquiries about your order
  • Notify you when an out-of-stock product becomes available (only if you opt in)

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose limited information to:

  • Australia Post / courier services, your name and delivery address are provided to the shipping carrier to deliver your order
  • BTCPay Server, our self-hosted payment processor handles cryptocurrency transactions; no personal data is shared with third-party payment networks

We do not disclose your information to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

5. Data Storage & Security

Order data is stored in a secured database on privately operated servers. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. We implement security measures including HTTPS (enforced via HSTS) and access controls.

6. Access & Correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request correction of any inaccurate information. To make a request, contact us at support@ozpeps.is.

We will respond to access and correction requests within 30 days. In most cases we can action requests immediately.

7. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us at support@ozpeps.is and we will investigate and respond as soon as reasonably practicable.

8. Terms of Use

By accessing and placing an order with OzPeps, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and that you agree to the following terms:

  • Research use only. All products purchased from OzPeps are for laboratory research, in vitro studies, and preclinical investigation only. They are not for human or animal consumption and are not TGA-approved therapeutic goods.
  • Regulatory compliance. You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase and use of products complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including any institutional ethics or biosafety requirements.
  • No medical advice. Nothing on this website constitutes medical, veterinary, or scientific advice. OzPeps does not recommend any specific research protocol or dosing regimen.
  • Crypto payments. All payments are processed in cryptocurrency via BTCPay Server. Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, orders cannot be cancelled once payment is confirmed.
  • No returns. For hygiene, safety, and regulatory reasons, we do not accept returns of research compounds. If your order arrives damaged or incorrectly fulfilled, contact us within 48 hours of receipt at support@ozpeps.is.
  • Limitation of liability. OzPeps is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the misuse of products outside their stated research purpose.
  • Indemnity. When you place an order with OzPeps you accept responsibility for what happens to the products after they leave us. If your use of the products , or use by anyone you subsequently supply them to, leads to a claim, lawsuit, injury, or expense brought against OzPeps, you agree to bear the cost of defending that claim and reimbursing any damages or legal fees we incur. This applies to any use outside the stated research-only purpose, any onward distribution by you, and any breach of these terms or the laws of your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of OzPeps after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
