OzPeps Research Team
Editorial & Research Team
The OzPeps Research Team is the editorial group behind our research guides. We synthesise published, peer-reviewed literature on peptide biology, metabolic signalling, and preclinical compounds into accessible summaries for the Australian scientific research community.
Background
The team works from preclinical and clinical literature on synthetic peptides, small-molecule compounds, and their mechanisms of action in research models. Our focus is synthesising published findings into accurate, accessible summaries for researchers and scientists working in Australian institutions and private research settings.
Guides are produced as a literature-based editorial effort, drawing on peer-reviewed studies, clinical trial registries, and established pharmacological reference sources. All articles reflect current published science; none constitute medical advice.
Research Interests
Peptide Pharmacology
Structure–activity relationships of synthetic peptides, receptor binding kinetics, and bioavailability considerations in preclinical research models.
Metabolic & Mitochondrial Biology
AMPK/mTOR signalling cascades, mitochondrial membrane potential, and the intersection of peptide biology with metabolic regulation.
Cellular Repair & Regeneration
Preclinical literature on tissue-repair peptides, extracellular matrix remodelling, and angiogenic signalling pathways.
Neuromodulatory Compounds
Anxiolytic and nootropic peptides, mechanisms of action, blood–brain barrier penetration models, and translational research context.
Growth Hormone Axis
Secretagogue pharmacology, IGF-1 downstream effects, and comparative analysis of GHRH analogues in research settings.
Editorial Standards
All research guides are literature-based and reference published, peer-reviewed studies where available. Claims citing specific studies include DOI or PubMed identifiers for independent verification.
No content on this site constitutes medical advice, and all compounds discussed are referenced in their capacity as research chemicals for laboratory and preclinical use only. Researchers are responsible for compliance with applicable Australian regulations.
